Jallikattu and Manjuvirattu are not just cultural sports but living symbols of Tamil pride, bravery, and heritage, where the courage of our youth and the sacred bond with Nattu Madu (indigenous bulls) are celebrated. Our NGO is dedicated to preserving these age-old traditions by creating awareness, organizing cultural events, and ensuring that the legacy of Tamil identity continues to inspire future generations.
Caring for Players and Their Families
At the heart of this initiative is our support for players and their families. Injuries are a reality in these events, and many players risk their lives for the honor of their village and culture. We provide medical assistance, rehabilitation care, and financial aid, along with educational scholarships for the children of players who can no longer work or in cases where families lose their loved ones. This ensures that their bravery is honored not only on the field but also in the lives of their families.
Protecting Native Bulls and Rural Livelihoods
Our efforts also extend to rescuing and protecting abandoned native bulls and cows, providing them with food, shelter, and medical care. By safeguarding these animals, we strengthen rural livelihoods, revive traditional dairy practices, and uphold the cultural significance of native breeds. Supporting Jallikattu and Manjuvirattu through our NGO means protecting Tamil traditions, empowering rural communities, and passing on an unbroken legacy of valor and identity to future generations.
